THE DMR PRESIDENT STATE COUNSELOR VICTOR SINIOV DIED IN AGE OF 67.
On September 6th 2002, one
of the greatest leaders of Dniestria, the State Counselor of the President of
the Dniester Moldavian Republic Victor Siniov suddenly died.
He was born on January 24th 1935 in the city of Omsk in the
Russian Federation.
In 1952, after having graduated the high school, he entered the Mining
Institute named after Vakhrushev in the city of Sverdlovsk.
From 1957 till 1959, Siniov had been working as constructing engineer,
junior collaborator of the institute “Uralmekhanooborudovanie” (Urals Mechanic
Equipment).
From 1959 till 1964, he had been the engineer for automated equipment,
the head-engineer of heat-measuring laboratory, and the deputy head of department
of heating control in the Salabat heat-energy power station of Bashkirian
Economic Council.
From 1964 till 1969, he had been working as master of heat-automatics
and measuring department, then as the deputy head of heat-automatics and
measuring department of Kuchurgan hydroelectric power station, later as
liberated secretary of the party committee of the Moldavian hydroelectric power
station.
In 1971, Siniov was nominated the chairman of Tiraspol city council of
people’s deputies executive committee, having worked for 15 years at this post.
From 1986 till 1990, he had been the minister of housing and facilities
of the Moldavian SSR, later – the General Director of the Communal system
“Askom”.
In May 1992, he was nominated the head of republican department of local
economy and fuel of the Dniester Moldavian Republic.
Since August 1992, he had been the deputy head of Government, minister
of industry and power engineering.
Since February 1997, he had been working as the first deputy head of
Government of the Dniester Moldavian Republic.
Since August 2000, he had been the special representative of the
President of the Dniester Moldavian Republic for issues of making
intergovernmental agreements.
In January 2002, he was nominated the State counselor of the President
of the Dniester Moldavian Republic in rang of minister.
During all these years, Victor Siniov had been showing high
professionalism, vigorousness, persistence, and ability to resolve the most
complicated problem of society's development. The Presidential Administration
and Ministers' Cabinet of the Dniester Moldavian Republic knew Victor Siniov as
a principal, supportive, keen, and attentive colleague and friend.
His rich practical and
living experience, talent of organizer and governor is awarded with high
governmental rewards of the Soviet Union and Dniester Moldavian Republic,
including as follows: the Badge of Honor and of Labor Red Banner, and a number
of other rewards of our state.
In our memory Victor Siniov
will stay forever as an example of selfless serving to the Motherland, of high
professionalism, example of dignity and honor.
We deeply grieve because of sudden death of Victor Siniov and express
the deepest condolences to his family, relatives, and close people.
