CARE OF CHILDREN – THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE DniestriaN AUTHORITY

Healthcare of the population and especially of children stands the first in the line of the main objectives of the President of the Dniester Moldavian Republic, the Government, and the DMR Supreme Council. In order to grow up and keep the young generation healthy, it’s especially important to diagnose children’s inborn and chronicle sicknesses on early stages. For that we should use expensive and modern equipment. Unfortunately, while Dniestrian hospitals only partially have brand-new apparatus for diagnosing and treatment. That’s why re-equipment of Dniestrian institutions of healthcare with modern machinery is one of the main programs for the DMR authority.

Within frames of accomplishing that program, on 6^th August 2002, the President of the Dniester Moldavian Republic Igor Smirnov presented an apparatus to the Children’s Republican clinical hospital; it was produced by the Japanese corporation “Aloka” for ultrasound investigation of heart and internal organs. Money in sum of about $100 000 for acquisition of the apparatus was given from the DMR Presidential Fund. As Igor Smirnov said when meeting with employees of the Children’s Republican clinical hospital, “in spite of the fact that the Republic suffers difficulties today, none of the social programs in Dniestria were cancelled”. Resolution of the demographic issues is the main direction of work of the Ministers’ Cabinet, the Supreme Council, and of the whole state. Today modern equipment is installed in the hospital for the Great Patriotic war veterans, ambulance, and children’s healthcare institutions”. The DMR President emphasized that “it’s the merit of the whole Dniestrian people, that there is possibility for acquiring new equipment hospitals. I hope that we will overcome economic difficulties, and furthermore we will regularly and non-tensely install expensive and modern equipment in our hospitals”.

The Head Doctor of the Children’s Republican clinical hospital Tatyana Sobolevskaia on behalf the healthcare benefactors grated Igor Smirnov for the aid and support and remarked “during the period hard for our state, children of our republic and medical employees feel the care and support from the President and Ministers’ Cabinet. On time diagnosing of inborn pathologies will let reduce the percent of chronicle diseases, of disablement of children. At a whole, we grew up a healthy working-able”.

Tatyana Sobolevskaia also expressed greetings to the representatives of the Dniestrian comercial bank “Ipotechny”. The bank has numerously given material assistance to the Children’s Republican clinical hospital for reparation of the equipment. And today the representatives of the bank “Ipotechny” presented an ultrasound inhalator to the hospital. As Tatyana Sobolevskaia remarked, due to that apparatus, children suffering from serious respiratory diseases, will receive on-time assistance.

The representative of the corporation “Aloka” informed that annually 10 doctors from the DMR would make free-of-charge studies on the corporation basis. The two of those ten, that will show particular success during the studies, will be sent to Tokio.
