Today Iosif Kobzon is 65 years. With occasion of jubilee of the talented singer, artist, and politician, the President of the Dniester Moldavian Republic I. Smirnov sent a celebration telegram to Iosif Kobzon.

Let me cordially celebrate you with the wonderful jubilee: 65 years old and 45 years since the start of creative activity.

Behind your shoulders, there stands large vital and creative way marked by plenty of bright discoveries, artistic achievements, and brilliant victories.

Many songs have been sung by you for these years, many of them have become legendary, the symbol of Soviet Estrada of the 70s. The whole country remembers "Mgnovenia" (Instants) from the wonderful TV-serial "17 Instants of Spring", "Deni Pobedy" ("The Victory Day"), "Russkoie Pole" ("The Russian Field"), "Poklonimsia Velikim Tem Godam" ("Let's Bow to These Great Years"), and many other vocal performances.

You have devoted your unlimited talent, inexhaustible fire of soul, and eternally young heart to your favorite profession and to the world of art.

You keep on giving your very rich living and stage experience to creative youth following you.

But not only the world of art attracts your heart. You are an example of unique combination of an art benefactor and a statesman, giving much strength and spiritual energy for prosperity of the Russian State, for revival of its former might.
